That’s how our municipality rolls

I have reported this issue to the municipality and guess what? I was just seen as 'another fussy and bored resident with nothing better to do'.

We have been experiencing strange things happening in our garden – flowers are eaten by unknown creatures, trees are being torn down and garden furniture is being vandalised.

On Saturday, 24 April, we found out who the culprits were – two monkeys!

Just after noon, yes in broad daylight while sitting in my TV room I saw ‘this thing’ with a long tail passing. I was surprised by this unusual tail and I thought to myself what a strange cat.

As I was standing up to go check it out, I saw another one passing … it was a monkey!

The open space between our yard and the cemetery has been left uncleaned with tall trees and grass. It is now a dumping site and thieves’ paradise (telephone cables were recently stolen).

But then again, what did I expect?

That’s how our municipality rolls!
