Online the way to go for Randfontein Show exhibitors

Everything is so uncertain, but life must go on so we came up with the idea of helping exhibitors to still have a presence, albeit online.

• Joy Hamann, RPA Publicity Officer writes:

The 2021 Randfontein Show may have been cancelled (due to Covid Regulations), but the organisers, Randfontein Publicity Association (RPA), are still offering exhibitors the opportunity to sell their wares.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on so many exhibitors as the majority of large markets and festivals around the country were cancelled in 2020. The 2020 Randfontein Show was the last big festival in the country before the first lockdown occurred at the end of March last year. Now event organisers, performers, exhibitors and even members of the public are waiting with bated breath to see when lockdown restrictions will allow large gatherings.

Everything is so uncertain, but life must go on so we came up with the idea of helping exhibitors to still have a presence, albeit online.

For a nominal once-off fee, photos of products available are marketed on social media and mass email. Potential buyers are then re-directed to the Show website where the exhibitors’ contact details and website/ Facebook addresses are available. In this way buyers can order directly from the exhibitors.

Exhibitors Online is a work in progress, and new exhibitors will be added as they sign up. Anyone is welcome to apply. Contact Maggie on 011 412 2878/ 1562 or WhatsApp 082 463 7327 or email maggie@randfonteininfo.co.za for more details.
