The Randfontein Publicity Association, organisers of the annual Randfontein Show, would like to thank the Herald for its valuable contribution to the 2019 Show. Without your input it would have been impossible to host an event of this magnitude.
Randfontein Show entered its 33rd year in 2019 and remains the West Rand’s biggest business and social extravaganza. People from all over Gauteng – and neighbouring provinces – attend the Show each year.
The 2019 theme, Keys, worked well and many exhibitors participated, decorating their stalls to match the theme.
The weather certainly played its part and for the second year in a row, there was not a drop of rain during the Show period.
Several NGOs who received free stalls, reported that the Show had served as a perfect marketing opportunity to raise funds and awareness about their organisations and were extremely grateful for the opportunity.
Congratulations to Abri Erasmus from Africa Lime Industries, who won the Best Show Personality award. The Westgold Primary School’s mealie stall won Chairman’s Choice, and Hoppy Hearts won the Best Overall Exhibitor award.
