Here’s Toekies for you in a nutshell.

• No proper clinic. Don’t believe me? Go visit.

• Overcrowded schools. What will it take for someone to see what they’re doing is wrong.? Overcrowded classrooms have a negative impact not only on the learners but on the teachers too. Parents feel the pinch at the end of the day. Vicious circle … please take note.

• No sports facilities (check out the stadium)

• Outdated/ rundown civic centre

• No rent office

• Outdated library (needs an upgrade)

• One of the darkest places in SA at night (bring back the streetlights) in my opinion

• No playgrounds, parks, recreation centre, smallest public swimming pool ever built (thanks anyway)

• No housing … I mean not even one since ’94 (where are the RDPs?). We need them houses, ek sê.

Please … people are gonna vandalise property no matter what. It happens everywhere all around the world. The way of life, it is. The needy, drug addicted, foolish will always indulge in breaking down instead of building. They don’t know no better. Or short net gem%@r te word!

Proper precautions need to be taken to ensure nothing gets stolen or vandalised. Think about it.

Don’t get me started on the sewage overflowing all over the place, no cutting of grass, rubbish removal on street corners and open veld, street signs and info board nowhere to be found, water drainage system is nonexistent, dusty pavements in the year 2019 … etc.

The only township in Gauteng I know that has not been developed since ’94. Please try and prove me wrong.
