I have been into various government institutions since 1994, and after more than 20 years of democracy, the Randfontein Department of Labour is a disgrace.
Out of seven desks with computers and all the necessary equipment, only two desks have people, from whom you get assistance. These two people are expected to help over 100 people per day and are expected to leave their respective desks take their lunch breaks.
Sometimes you end up standing in front of one person for more than 35 minutes because he/ she is also answering calls from landline or cellphone. This is poor service and it’s disgusting.
We are calling for the seniors to intervene in this scenario, and would appreciate their assistance.
