I have a question regarding firearms
From March 2016 now its March 2017 they need to clean up in their own department before they take on the public. OR They need to clean up their firearms department before they take on the public.

Well, why don’t you also do a report on firearm renewals and see for yourself what is going on? Besides the paperwork, the time they take, investigate why are we all waiting for firearm renewals and also for new applications.
I am waiting for my renewal for one year now and every time I go to the police station to ask for it they say wait. My company certificate had a more than eight-month waiting period. I phoned the police’s firearms department and only then they told me it’s up for approval and will be looked at. Besides that, my renewal papers were send back. Two months after I have asked when can I get my new licence, I was told by the department’s renewal office it was send back to the police station.
Ask these questions to the firearms department and let’s see what the answers are. So it’s a year now and no renewal, and it’s costing me money every time to go and ask and make phone calls to the firearms department. Best of all is they say you must have your papers in three months before the expiration date or you will lose your licence and you will be required to hand in your firearm.
Well, my papers were handed in three and a half months before my licence expired and up to date nothing was done.
They need to clean up their own department before they take on the public.
I was told I can use the slip they had given me from the date that I have applied for the renewal. They said if I get pulled over, I must show it to the police and tell them why I am waiting so that they can check on their system. I have registered, but what is going to happen on a weekend when you get pulled over and they say the man working with the firearms is not in the office and will only be back on Monday?
Well here is the answer: you stay in jail till Monday and then the excuse will be “Sorry, we made a mistake”. Please do some homework and ask the questions I have just given you and explain why we are waiting so long.
