Should I judge you because you don’t have ink?

My ink is dedicated to people, memories and events in my life.

I’m 37 years old. I don’t judge them. They have no ink, yet I don’t judge.

Every tattoo I have is a memory of people, places and events I will treasure for the rest of my life. Yes, I have a few dragon tattoos, but my first father’s day gift cannot be taken without sharp tools.

Even if I take off my wedding band … it’s still there. Should I judge you because you don’t have ink? No. Never.

You want to judge me because I don’t drive a German sports car? Judge all you like, my ink is dedicated to people, memories and events in my life.

Maybe we (people who carry ink) should discriminate against inconsequential, incompetent idiots. Would that be fair? Live and let live, that’s what my dad taught me.

You don’t like my ink? Kiss my rosy a@#. We already live in a country with so much strife and bull. You really want to get upset about a bit of ink? You need to sit down and think, “What if people judge me because of my haircut?” Grow up.

So well done, young Marlize Bester. Give them hell.
