On Friday afternoon (10 July) in the Hillside area near the Z88 shop, I was pulled over by a traffic officer for speeding on my motorcycle.
I pulled over some distance away, so the officer had quite a long walk to me. He nonetheless greeted me very politely and in perfect Afrikaans.
He was well-mannered and very polite throughout our conversation, although he gave me a good scolding for speeding. And then he let me go.
