South Africa recently has been rocked by high levels of crime. These statistics of high crime also have come to the fore in Randfontein. The bravery as shown by Gerrie Pretorius should be commended and promoted among community members of Randfontein.
Your bravery has reminded us of a conscious love we must produce for the wellbeing and safety of our communities; you serve as an inspiration to many of us.
We are moved by your attitude and commitment to eradicate forms of crime within our space of life. Your action reflects that death served as secondary option to your love of value towards the protection of the people of Randfontein.
We want to take the honour and appeal to members of the civic movements, CPF, religious fraternity and political organisations to create campaigns that reflect a mirror of your bravery.
