As a child we learned that trees are a huge source of clean air and they purify our surroundings.
However, today people seem to forget that every tree in and around Randfontein has a purpose and someone is cutting down every tree they can get their hands on.
Not only is this bad for the environment, it is also an eyesore if you drive past what once was bushes and only seem to find dead tree stumps. I want to know why these trees are being cut down and who gave the go-ahead on this ridiculous venture?
Stop cutting down our trees.
It is not your place to remove them from the ecosystem.
