When is the municipality going to start repairing our roads properly?

The so called "claims process" that they have is just as shady as the repairs done to the roads.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that we are fed up with these large potholes that the municipality does not seem to give a damn about.

The few repairs that have been done in this town were done so very poorly and the roads are uneven.

I don’t know about you but I am sick and tired of replacing tyres and rims because I am always swerving to try to avoiding these death traps

I even end up driving on the sidewalks.

They might as well change our town’s name to Potholefontein and make it a tourist attraction of sorts.

The so called “claims process” that they have is just as shady as the repairs done to the roads.

They make it impossible for you to get one cent from their insurance company and that’s exactly what they want.

My question is, what do they do with all the money they collect from our rates and taxes?

I have heard from an informant that their “tar” account was not paid for a long period of time, leaving them unable to obtain the basic material to do the repairs.

That is just one of the reasons why they fill some potholes with red sand which usually lasts a day or two.

The municipality should consider investing in this town’s infrastructure before it gets worse than it already is.

If not, people will start moving out of this town.

We will also start losing businesses and investors.
