Timed geysers an inconvenience

However, the times programmed into this regulator are not appropriate at all.

• Frank Hey from Homelake writes:

I cannot understand how the municipality operates.

I recently installed a pre-paid electricity meter in my home and had to agree that a geyser regulator should be installed as part of the pre-paid electricity meter.

According to the municipality, this regulator will regulate your geyser and switch it on and off at appropriate times.

However, the times programmed into this regulator are not appropriate at all.

If I want to take a bath when I come home from work after a long shift, there is no warm water in our geyser because this dumb devise switched the geyser off.

I want to know how we can get rid off this regulator because it is supposed to save electricity, but it disrupts my household routine.

How do I go about?

I would really like someone to fill me in with more information regarding the above complaint.
