People need to wake up and smell the coffee

If they fail to deliver on service delivery issues then they should step down from government and give other parties a chance.

I would like to bring the matter of local governance to people’s attention

By so doing, I am really hoping to remove the wool that has been pulled over their eyes by the Randfontein Local Municipality into believing that things will get better with time.

Well, if you ask me that is nonsense as we still don’t get our refuse collected on time, potholes are still everywhere in Randfontein and if that weren’t enough, we are still being tricked into paying more than we should for our electricity.

If that on its own isn’t dodgy then I don’t know what is.

I urge people to actually wake up and smell the coffee.

Service delivery is a myth in this town. It is non existence and that is that.

I am saying this because people’s pleas continue to fall through the cracks while the richer in office are getting richer and the poorer are getting poorer.

At the ed of the day it seems as though nobody really cares.

What I would like to say is that we are the ones that brought these people to power through our votes.

They should therefore function as our servants and once they slack on their duties, why can we not simply remove them from office.

People must not think that they the ruling party is untouchable.

If they fail to deliver on service delivery issues then they should step down from government and give other parties a chance.

I believe that it is only then can we begin to see change,

It is only then can we begin to see a better South Africa.

Let us not be naïve, nothing good will come out of the ANC no matter how many chances we give them.
