We wish Tata a speedy recovery

I attended the prayer session for former President Nelson Mandela on 11 July in Mohlakeng and I cannot help but say that I was moved by resident’s praises for the ailing statemen and God’s presence that filled the hall.

I then think that it is right and just to give thanks to those that came out in their numbers to help pray for Mandela especially in the condition that he is in.

Our hearts as a nation are bleeding while he is in hospital and we should then all come together and be the united nation that he fought for.

While we wish him well, it then becomes unfortunate that we have to hear of the catfight that is happening in the Mandela family even before his death.

They too should be put in our prayers because if not, they will continue to cause more damage to Tata’s health.

I can only imagine what this nation will come to once he is no more but then again, God brought us into this world and he will take us when he sees fit.
