Every week we read about crime in Randfontein being so out of control.

I have been lucky so far since moving from Mohlakeng I have not experienced any crime, but I think that all of us should join the CPF together and help to make the community safe.

Just because I have not had crime affecting me at my home does not mean that it won’t happen.

I do not want my wife to be robbed on her way to the shop, or my children attacked on their way to the bus stop.

These are the things that happen to our neighbours every day.

I think we should show the criminals that not everybody in South Africa is a victim.

Let’s take back our streets.
