For the Segarona, she chose a unique topic which was her personal thoughts on dating. She noted her speech was about 13 minutes long. Now Onkarabetse is focused on preparing for provincials and striving to reach nationals.

“My passion for public speaking, debating, and presenting began at age five. By eight, I started actively competing in various events therefore the reason I entered was to showcase what I’ve been good at since an extremely young age,” she said.
