Intelligent Westgold learner excels at Maths Olympiad
Laerskool Westgold Primary's Grade Seven learner Remothabetse Letsatsi participated in the district round of the Maths Olympiad.
Remothabetse Letsatsi used his wits to impress at the Mathematics Olympiad district round in Venterspos recently.
As a result, Remothabetse was then chosen as one of four Grade Seven learners who secured a spot in the provincial round at Randfontein High School. Remothabetse is, however, still awaiting feedback regarding his final placing on the podium.
According to school spokesperson Mariska du Plessis, mathematics is his favourite subject.
“Remothabetse is extremely intelligent and held Westgold’s name high during the Mathematics Olympiad. We are proud to see him achieving his goals,” Mariska concluded.
