Laerskool Gerrit Maritz Primary School won two diamond and one platinum award at the Randfontein Arts and Culture Association (RACA) Eisteddfod.
The Junior Ritsies took part in the Choral Verse English category (formal/ informal) for which they received a Diamond award. The Senior Ritsies competed in the same category and received a Platinum award.
The Maritzie Squad also competed in the Dance Group (Amapiano category) and managed to receive the school’s second Diamond award.
