RCA matrics about their future plans

Randfontein Christian Academy's three matriculants share their plans with the Herald.

Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) wishes their handful of matriculants well for the future.

Principal Dr Chris Ayres mentioned that the school only had three matriculants in 2023. He added that these school learners have seen the school grow and adapt throughout the school’s existence. He is ultimately proud of their achievements and wishes them all the best.

Ntlafatso Sibisi said she is extremely proud of herself and although she feels she could have done better, she is relieved to have received her National Senior Certificate. Furthermore, Ntlafatso feels disheartened to leave school as RCA has been part of her whole life. Having excelled in Life Sciences, Ntlafatso is confident to take on the big world. She now plans to study medicine and hopes to become a certified gynaecologist one day.

Reabetswe Mawunda was shocked for all the good reasons and said she did better than she expected. Although extremely nervous about leaving school, she is excited to start a new chapter in her life. Reabetswe is especially proud of her English mark and wants to attain a bachelor’s degree in social science so that she can become a psychologist.

Katlego Padi did not know what to expect but is most proud of his mark in the subject of Life Orientation. He is considering becoming a professional gamer one day.
