Westgold celebrates and honours their learners at prize-giving

Westgold Primary School honoured learners in academics, sports and culture during their annual prize-giving ceremony held early this month.

The prize-giving ceremony was for grades 1–7. School spokesperson Mariska du Plessis described the occasion as amazing saying learners truly deserved the recognition for what they had achieved in the classroom, sports field and stage.

“It is one of the biggest highlights of the year. For Westgold, the prize-giving offers a sense of celebration for the hard work that learners have put in throughout the school year. We had numerous achievements on various levels, academic, sports and culture. Westgold is proud of each one of these learners that attended this spectacular evening!” Mariska exclaimed proudly.
