Learners enjoy a slip-and-slide kind of day
Westgold Primary School hosted a watersport day for learners before the exams.
Westgold Primary School learners enjoyed a sunny day with watersport fun recently.
On November 10, numerous grade 1–7 learners wore their swimming outfits and took part in various obstacle courses and water slides. The obstacle that was most loved by learners, according to school communicator Mariska du Plessis, was the Dunk Tank. Learners were blessed with the opportunity to throw a ball and attempted to dunk the principal as well as two deputy principals.
Another obstacle that was enjoyed by learners was the Foam Track where learners jumped into foam.
Mariska gave a special thanks to Odette van Rooyen who organised the watersports day for the learners before the exams started.
“This was the perfect day to enjoy with friends and educators!” Mariska exclaimed with excitement.
