The members of Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School’s executive group have been elected to serve as ambassadors for 2024.
“They bring enthusiasm and dedication to the table and they are fully prepared to tackle any challenge and opportunity that 2024 will bring. Their energy and drive will undoubtedly inspire their peers and foster a sense of unity and purpose within our school community. We are confident that Jannas and the entire executive team will excel in their roles and leave a positive and lasting impact on our school throughout the upcoming year.”
These are the words of Jannas’ spokesperson Charl Ludick as he introduced the executive team. He added that the members of the executive team for 2024 are dynamic individuals playing a vital role in shaping the future of Jannas.
Zanté de Lange has obtained the title of president and Charl explained that Zanté has the required leadership skills to take charge and guide the members towards success. Working alongside Zanté is Hestia Bouwer, who is the vice president of the executive team. According to Charl, Hestia provides crucial support to the executives when it is required, ensuring a seamless flow of operations.
Amùelle van der Heever is the secretary and needs to ensure that rosters and schedules are executed. Charl mentioned that she shares critical information to keep the executives informed and maintain efficient co-ordination.
Assisting Amùelle is Khoai Matete, the vice secretary who ensures that the secretary has the correct information. He will also contribute to schedules and rosters.
The treasurer is George Nicolakakis who is responsible for managing the Representative Council of Learners’ finances, ensuring that projects and activities can be carried out with the necessary resources.
Finally. Lané Odendaal is appointed public relations officer and Charl claims that she is the voice of the executive team with the role of engaging with the public and providing them with insight into future projects and activities.
