According to the resident and organiser of the event, Hugh Phokojo he is hoping to attract more of his peers and would love for them to keep in touch as “oldies”.

“The purpose of this event will be to celebrate 50 years after we left. It was a secondary school by then in 1973 and it is now a high school. A lot of our schoolmates have since passed on but those who are still alive are close to around 40 those are the ones I’ve been in contact with. I’m hoping to reach more and those I’ve spoken to are all so excited about this event and we can’t wait to see each other in good spirits.

“There are those we haven’t seen for some time and it would be wonderful to come together and see how we are aging gracefully,” said Phokojo.

He added that the event will start at noon and conclude at about 15:00.
