Melktandjies Nursery School recently hosted a Glitz and Glamour parents’ evening event at Spore van Hoop en Geloof.
Principal Karin Korf explained the purpose of the event was to make all their parents feel welcome, have them socialise, and enjoy the occasion.
“It was done especially for our parents, their children, and our wonderful teachers. The venue was decorated in black and gold with lots of sparkles and glitter and it was glamourous.”
She added that everyone enjoyed themselves and the parents also got to know the teachers.
“By having this event we wanted to show our parents that we appreciate them. Getting to know each other is also important because we all live in such a fast world. Sometimes, we just need to sit down and have some fun.”
They also played games and had lots of laughs and fun.
“At Melktandjies Nursery School we seek to get to know our parents and keep our little ones happy, seeing as that we are not just a Nursery School but a warm home and one big family!”
