Cast Aways receives major food and supply donation
Mahindra Randfontein recently visited Cast Aways with a tractor towing a trailer filled with dog food along with two vehicles transporting blankets and cleaning products.
Mahindra Randfontein (Ben Morgenrood Group) has reached out to animals in need at Cast Aways donating tons of dog food, as well as blankets and cleaning products.
According to franchise director Maryna Lutt, the fundraiser started in late July. During this period they were able to raise about two tons of dog food, more than 100kg of cat food, blankets and cleaning products.
“Mahindra decided to do this fundraising because we believe that we can only rise by lifting others. The ‘Rise’ slogan of Mahindra inspired us to put it into action by supporting Louisa and her animal sanctuary. They do so much for the animals, and we wanted to help them in their valuable work,” Maryna added.
She further thanked every person and business who contributed and stated together they can make a difference.
Founder of Cast Aways Louisa Rossouw was overjoyed with the donations.
“We cannot thank Mahindra Randfontein enough. We needed this since we are going through a very difficult time,” Louisa expressed.
