Missing boerboel pup found safe

A family in Westonaria is grateful that their beloved boerboel pup who went missing recently has been found.

The Pretorius family and their beloved boerboel puppy, Zara, have been reunited.

The four-month-old female boerboel went missing recently. According to her owner, Angelique Pretorius, Zara managed to escape by running out and passing the gate on the afternoon of September 18.

Fortunately, Pretorius mentioned some residents spotted Zara in Haarlem and Sarel Cilliers streets behind a local police station.

On September 20, Pretorius’ husband drove to fetch Zara and brought her home.

“Our hearts were broken when she got lost. Now, she is finally back home and safe. We missed her so much and just wanted her to be home safe,” Pretorius said.

Pretorius further expressed Zara is a loving dog that always wants to play. She added Zara especially enjoys spending time with her son, Jayden.

“My son’s reaction when we brought her home was priceless,” she expressed.

“She has the cutest tendency to walk crookedly whenever she gets excited. When we walk with her, she always walks between our legs,” she explained.
