Vodacom users are notified about the software maintenance
The municipality confirms that Vodacom services might be affected following a software maintenance plan.
Rand West City Local Municipality has issued a statement confirming the Vodacom VolP Telephone System is down due to software maintenance.
According to municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa, the downtime is planned software maintenance.
Montshiwa added that this needs to be implemented on their network for the entire region of Johannesburg, including Rand West. He further mentioned that during this process Vodacom networks might be interrupted.
He stated that he is unsure of when the maintenance will conclude, but it will not be long before it does.
