Save Blikkies from becoming the longest resident in a shelter

One of No More Tears' longest resident Blikkies is ready to have a loving family to call his own.

Blikkies the dog has been in the shelter since January and is ready for his forever home.

Four-year-old Blikkies is a medium-sized dog looking for loving human hands to care for him.
According to founder and director of No More Tears Animal Rescue Stephan Hendricks, Blikkies is a sweet and resilient dog who, despite his trauma, is a friendly and compassionate companion.

However, Stephan is unsure how Blikkies react around cats.

Blikkies is currently at the Nordic Rescue Centre in Tarlton and he is one of the animals who have been at the rescue centre the longest.

The No More Tears team found Blikkies in an industrial area in Aureus. Stephan stated that Blikkies had a lot of scars which they suspect might be due to abuse. Stephan suspects that Blikkies had boiling water thrown at him and suffered severe burn wounds.

If you’re interested in adopting Blikkies and giving him the happy ending he deserves, send an email to info@nomoretears.org.za or contact No More Tears on 084 433 7748.
