Wings of Inspiration creates awareness with socks and slippers

Wings of Inspiration Care Centre is hoping to spread the word through its socks and slippers project.

Nicky Solms, consultant for Wings of Inspiration stated, “This fundraiser aims to raise awareness and funds to continue our mission of helping and inspiring our community and beneficiaries.”

She explained they visit schools and businesses, inform them of the organisation and what they do and answer any questions they may have. For R10 people can also get a sticker badge they can wear with their socks and slippers.

“We are dedicated to providing essential care and support to those in need. We want to raise more awareness of our community’s needs by supporting our organisation and being dedicated to making a positive impact in our community,” Nicky said.

She noted they need non-perishable foods, cleaning products, winter clothing, toiletries and stationery for their daycare centre.
