WATCH: Brothers star in famous podcast

Moses and Aaron Legodi are local podcast presenters for West Rand Podcast with the Twins wherein they entertain residents with their shrewd conversations.

According to Moses, they usually speak about various topics relating to entertainment, beauty, religion and politics. Their podcasts are about 30 minutes long.

Moses claimed that the podcast has been up and running for nearly nine months. They originally presented after they realised that there was a lack of social media platforms that cater to individual talent in the West Rand. They eventually established the podcast to host different individuals who share their talents.

“I have been in the media space for a very long time, particularly in the film industry. After I saw that podcasts were becoming more popular, I knew that was what we had to do. It allows us to address many things through the medium without being dictated by big media house entities,” Moses expressed.

They truly enjoy interviewing ordinary and extraordinary people and offering them a platform to showcase what they do. They describe the podcast as a footprint for the West Rand community.

One of the twins’ proudest moments on the podcast was when they invited Teen Miss Africa from the West Rand. They were also extremely proud after seeing their first episode on social media platforms.

The twins did face a few challenges regarding the podcast. According to Moses, they struggled with quality equipment, and Wi-Fi to upload the content and transport since they are a mobile podcast crew.

The West Rand Podcast with the Twins is striving to achieve variety by interviewing more talented individuals.
