Adopt a pup at Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary

Fur babies available for adoption at local sanctuary.

Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary has several pups up for adoption.

Louisa Rossouw, founder and owner of the sanctuary, explained they have eight medium-breed puppies in need of homes. They received them at four weeks old when they were still bottle-fed. A woman in Carletonville rescued them from a field without their mom. She added eight bottle feeding babies is difficult to handle without help.

The puppies are doing well, are almost five months old and have to be rehomed before they become adults.

She noted people should be aware there is an adoption fee. This includes deworming, parasite control, vaccinations until they leave the sanctuary, microchips, and sterilisation.
