Schools walk together to create awareness of freedom

Freedom Day is around the corner and school kids walked to create awareness.

Multiple schools in Randfontein came together to walk through the streets to celebrate the upcoming Freedom Day (April 27).

On the morning of April 23, various Randfontein schools marched down the streets while holding posters. Traffic officers and the police accompanied the crowd to ensure their safety.

Randfontein Police Station Commander, Brigadier Jacob Manamela added that the schools had a walkathon to celebrate Freedom Day and to be a voice for human trafficking and substance abuse awareness.
