Help the RandWest SPCA get on the road again

Reliable transport is vital to the local SPCA, however, with both their vehicles having to be repaired they simply just do not have the funds and are asking the community's help.

The RandWest SPCA needs the community’s help to continue doing the vital work they do in the community.

Brenda Eloff, the chairperson for the SPCA, explained they have two bakkies they use to transport the animals, however, both are currently giving trouble. The one requires brake fluid not to mention has clutch problems. They took it in recently, however, they do not have the funds to have it repaired at this moment.

She continued to say the other bakkie had already been in use for 24 years and occasionally breaks. That one is currently at the panel beaters to be repaired.

“We plead with the community to please help us get these vehicles on the road again,” said Brenda.

For any person who wants to contribute, contact the office on 011 412 3114 or send an email to chairman@spcarandwest.co.za.

She concluded, “The committee works hard on fundraisers, however, it just does not bring in enough funds to cover unplanned costs such as this as well.”
