To limit the rise of crime, the Myburgh Foundation's Community Safety Unit has initiated an operation.

The Myburgh Foundation’s Community Safety Unit will launch yet another operation to help curb the rise of crime.

According to Randy Christian, the founder and operations manager of the foundation, the Community Safety Unit will be initiating an operation to limit cable theft along with damage to essential infrastructure.

The operation will be launched in Toekomsrus, Mohlakeng, Aureus and the Randfontein CBD.

“Regular patrols are being conducted daily in these areas, especially during load-shedding. This is a matter that concerns the whole community. We [Community Safety Unit] humbly urge the communities in our precinct to support our efforts and report suspicious activities to the relevant authority. Alternatively, contact us directly at 062 591 2268.

“As a commitment to our residents, we will leave no stone unturned in bringing perpetrators of cable theft and damage to our essential infrastructure to book,” Christian declared.
