Beloved pug reported missing
Caitlin Mae Steenekamp needs help finding her pet dog, Troy. The family is offering a R1 000 reward.
Pet mom Caitlin Mae Steenekamp is desperately looking for their dog that went missing.
He has been missing for five days and we appeal to the community to assist,” she said.
On Friday, January 19, Caitlin’s domestic worker left the gate open when Troy decided to run away on the Elandsfontein dirt road.
Troy is a black pug breed and Caitlin stated that he has a mole on the back of his tail.
Caitlin added, “If Troy is spotted roaming the area, it is best to call out ‘koekies’ as he is more likely to react to the name. Troy is an overly friendly dog raised in a domestic environment. Therefore, it is unlikely that he will survive the odds in an open veld.”
A cash reward of R1 000 is guaranteed if Troy is found.
“Our hearts are in pieces. Please help us find Troy,” Caitlin said.
