Elderly citizens in W’aria celebrate the festive season

The event was aimed at showing appreciation to the elderly residents and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Elderly citizens from the Milestone Centre Old Age Home in Westonaria had a jolly good time after being treated during their annual Christmas lunch last month.

The event, which was held at the centre, was packed to capacity with 80 people in attendance.

Managing agent at the centre Anet Latsky said they wanted to show appreciation to their residents through the lunch and get them in the Christmas spirit.

They also had guest singer Maryna Booysen serenading the crowd.

The event was arranged by former Westonaria High School principal Bernard Fischer and his wife Sonja, as well as Franci Booysen.
