Janna of the Year 2023 announced
Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School announced MC Brown as Janna of the Year 2023.
MC Brown, a Grade 12 learner of Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School earned the title of Janna of the Year 2023 at the school’s prize-giving evening held recently.
According to Jan Viljoen spokesperson Charl Ludick, MC is the epitome of a true ‘Janna’.
Charl claimed that MC is a righteous ambassador for Jan Viljoen High School, conveying that he always wears his school uniform proudly and neatly. Based on Charl’s words, MC is a good example for fellow learners because of his humble and respectful approach.
“He always helps where possible. Cleaning up after an event, a sports match, or an assembly was never trouble for him. He took part in sport, culture and leadership, going out of his way to talk English to Grade Eight learners and their parents,” Charl stated.
Although MC suffered a rugby injury, he still managed to support the team by raising their spirits as a flagman at every match.
Jan Viljoen is very honoured to declare MC Brown as Janna of the Year 2023.
