Westcol’s best students rewarded and recognised

The event was aimed at recognising the accomplishments of students during the 2022 academic year, as well as bidding farewell to those that have completed their studies.

Students from the Westcol Randfontein Campus were honoured for their hard work and dedication recently.

This was during an awards ceremony for more than 260 students which was held at the school premises on October 5.

The purpose of this was to recognise the accomplishments of students during the 2022 academic year, as well as bid farewell to the departing students who have since completed their studies.

Acting campus manager Mashudu Moila said the awards are held annually and parents are always invited to share and witness their children’s accomplishments.

“Westcol is tasking you to be an ambassador. Go and tell the community about the contribution that Westcol can make in your lives. We want to encourage all prospective students to come and register, as they can realise their dream with us and acquire the necessary skills and competencies,” said Mashudu.

He added that N6 certificates were awarded in different courses including educare, public relations, human resource management, legal secretary, public management, management assistant, marketing management and hospitality, as well as engineering studies among others.
