Connie Mulder Centre to host its annual carnival

Put on your charity hat and support the Connie Mulder Centre's annual carnival on October 7.

The Connie Mulder Centre is hosting its annual carnival on October 7 and management is hoping that the community will come out in their numbers to show their support.

This will be at their premises on 3 Betty Street in Wilbotsdal where a lot of fun activities will be taking place.

The event is free of charge and will start at 09:00.

Speaking to the Randfontein Herald, the centre’s CEO Elona Uys said the festival will be for the benefit of the centre’s residents who are disabled adults.

“We are inviting everyone to come to the festival as it will be lots of fun. We are going to be having a car show on the day and people from the army will also be present. Traditional dancers will also be roped in and we are going to have singers performing and a DJ to entertain the crowd,” said Elona, who added that these are some of the things to expect on the day.

She concluded that those attending on the day can look forward to food stalls as well.
