Avantè Primary wears pajamas to raise funds

The funds will go a long way towards repairing anything that is broken at the premises.

Scores of learners from Avantè Primary School traded their school uniform for pyjamas and looked amazing in their sleepwear.

This was on August 4 and was aimed at raising funds for the school that will go a long way towards repairing anything that is broken at the premises.

Grade One learners from the school were happy to be in their pyjamas that showed their favourite cartoon characters.

The project was for all the learners at the school and upon arrival, the Randfontein Herald spotted Grade One learners dressed in character pyjamas that they gravitate towards.

The school’s head of Grade One Christa Brits said the learners had to pay R10 for the fundraising project.

“We decided to have a fundraising project at the school, to raise funds and inject those funds back into the school. These funds will be used to carry out some repair work at the school and for other projects that we may have and require funding,” said Brits.

Grade One learners from the school were happy to be in their pyjamas that showed their favourite cartoon characters.

She added that she and her learners had been in talks about the project for over a week and added that the learners couldn’t contain their excitement.

They got to school with happy smiles and ready to show off their sleepwear which they are fond of.
