Family asks for prayers for seriously injured son farming in the USA

The Taute family needs prayers to keep them strong during a difficult time as farmer Adriaan is still in hospital.

The family of local farmer Adriaan Taute who was in ICU after being hit by a van in the USA is asking for prayers hoping that their loved one bounces back to good health.

Taute is currently in hospital and is meant to undergo a skin graft on his leg on August 4 following a serious accident that landed him in ICU. The 21-year-old has been working as a farmer overseas and was driving a quadbike when the incident occurred in June.

According to family spokesperson JP de Beer, this will be the second skin graft that will be done on Taute.

“Taute is recovering in hospital but it’s not looking too good. His first skin graft failed. Doctors need to clean his wound first and we are hoping for the best,” said De Beer, who added that Adriaan’s mother Susan is very emotional at this stage.

Susan is in the USA with him and the Taute family needs prayers to keep them strong during this difficult time.
