Wings Frail Care residents receive winter spoils

Residents and caregivers of the Wings of Inspiration Frail Care Centre in Robin Park were spoiled with special items recently.

A community care event on June 3 saw the residents of the Wings of Inspiration Frail Care Centre in Robin Park being pampered.
This was thanks to the Ulysses West Rand Motorcycle Club and Cancervive.

Director of Wings Anthea da Costa said the bikers and Cancervive team collaborated for this event and spoiled the residents and caregivers with special items.

These items included handed crochet blankets, beanies, bed socks and care boxes with basic toiletries.”

She added that everyone was also treated to a lunch and lovely dessert.

“Happy smiles were everywhere during the day and the Wings team would like to thank you for the wonderful work that you do.”
