Parts of town were left without power for an extended period after two mini substations were targeted and vandalised by syndicates during load-shedding recently.
The Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has since released a statement on Wednesday, May 17 confirming that the electricity supply to certain areas was disrupted as a result.
