Municipality appoints new service provider for water and electricity vending system
Spectrum Utility Management is authorised to sell electricity and water for the municipality and may engage with credible retailers who will sell prepaid electricity and water in the region.
Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has appointed a new service provider for three years to render management of the prepaid electricity and water vending system.

The contract commenced on April 1 and Spectrum Utility Management replaced Cigicell.
Spectrum Utility Management (Pty) Ltd is authorised to sell electricity and water for RWCLM and may engage with credible retailers who will sell prepaid electricity and water in the region.
