Fired Up Audio Events recently held a bike and car show at the Highway bike and carwash for the late Bernadette Guthrie on Saturday, 18 March.

One of the organisers Carmen Botha said that she and her fiancè Gerald decided to host this car show because the owner of Highway Bike and carwash Willie Guthrie sadly lost his wife Bernadette after a battle with cancer.

“We wanted to bring the community together to support him and help him where we could, so all of the funds that were raised were handed over to him to help with the funeral arrangements of his wife.”
They also held a small memorial for her where everyone had a chance to write a message for her on a car.
