Buthelezi was reported to have been missing in early February when he left Mohlakeng for KwaZulu-Natal but never reached his destination.
Mandzana on the other hand was reported to have gone missing while on his way to deliver his CV at the Rand West City Local Municipality’s (RWCLM) office.
He was travelling from his home in Afri-Village.
At the time, Hendricks said, “The last conversation Mandzana had with his mother was on February 13 when he called her about an address confirmation but never returned home. This prompted her into approaching different police stations and hospitals in the area the following day, to see whether anyone knew or saw him.”
