Rest in peace, Owen Heath

Owen Heath was part of Wings of Inspiration sadly lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 3.

Randgate — It’s never easy to say goodbye to a loved one who meant to so much to everyone around them.

A resident of Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre and the father of Wings directors Anthea Da Costa and Kirsten Richardson sadly passed away recently.

The 66-year-old Owen Heath lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 3.

Daughter Kirsten said her father was an asset to the Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre and a valued member of the community.

“My dad started with Wings of Inspiration in 2016, being a part of the journey of opening up of all 10 facilities that fall under Wings of Inspiration.”

She added that her father’s passion was to make sure that the Elderly Care Centre was a home for all the golden oldies to live in peace and harmony adding animals, fountains, swimming pools and much more.

Kirsten added that her father always asked her when he was going to appear in the newspaper, and this was one of his biggest wishes. The Herald sends their sympathy to everyone close to Heath.

“His presence is going to be sorely missed by all, Thank you for all your hard work and determination over the years. May you rest in peace.”
