Myburgh Foundation to bring Christmas joy to children with Santa Shoebox project

The Myburgh Foundation's annual Santa Shoebox drive will bring joy to more than 100 children this Christmas.

The Myburgh Foundation is aiming to put smiles on another 120 children’s faces this Christmas with their annual Santa Shoebox drive.

Myburgh Foundation founder and operations manager Randy Christian said support has been coming in from community members and local businesses for the drive and the boxes are filled with a gift and sweet treats for boys and girls aged between 3 and 14.

“We believe in bringing about positive social changes by virtue of our welfare and humanitarian activities aimed at the well-being of children and youth,” said Randy.

He added that in the spirit of giving and spreading smiles, they hope to encourage members of society to open their hearts to those less fortunate during these trying times.

“We would like to thank our sponsors and community who supported us during this year, as we are confident that 2023 would be filled with more good deeds and strengthened partnerships in aid of a better society. Wishing everyone a blessed festive season, with love and prosperity,” said Randy.
