R28/ R41 intersection crash: Netcare 911 confirms multiple children injured
Eight people including six children have been injured following a serious crash at the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein on Thursday morning.
Netcare 911 have confirmed at least six children and two adults were injured after two vehicles were involved in a crash at the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein on Thursday morning, November 24.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said their emergency services responded to the scene at about 07:30.

“Paramedics assessed the scene and found that at least six children of multiple age groups as well as two adults had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.”
He further stated that the patients were treated on scene by paramedics from multiple emergency service companies who provided advanced life support intervention to stabilise some of the patients.
“Once treated, the patients including the adults were transported to government hospitals for further care. Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities who were on scene,” concluded Herbst.
