Local man missing after night out at tavern
He was drinking with his girlfriend at the time and informed her that he was going to the restroom - but he never returned.
Randfontein SAPS is appealing to local residents for assistance in locating a missing person who was last seen at a tavern in Toekomsrus.
Randfontein police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks said Ranjakutu Paulus Petlele went missing on Monday, October 10 at approximately 19:20 at Zita’s tavern in Banana Street.
“We are requesting assistance from the community in locating a missing person, he was drinking with his girlfriend at the time and informed her that he was going to the restroom, he never returned and has been missing ever since,” said Hendricks who added that Petlele was last seen wearing a two piece blue overall.
She urged anyone who might have any information regarding Petlele’s whereabouts to contact the Randfontein SAPS detective’s office on 011 414 4329 or on 083 623 6876.
